Apple Pay Now Accepted for iTunes, App Store, Apple Music, and iCloud Purchases in Some Countries

Apple Pay is now an accepted payment method for iTunes, App Store, and Apple Books purchases, as well as Apple Music and iCloud storage subscriptions, as reflected in a recently updated Apple support document.






To link any credit or debit cards set up in the Wallet app with your Apple ID account, navigate to Settings > iTunes & App Store. Next, select your Apple ID email and then tap View Apple ID > Manage Payments > Add Payment Method. The cards should be listed under a new "Found in Wallet" section.




This functionality is rolling out as a server-side change in the United States, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Russia, Ukraine, and the United Arab Emirates, so it is not available for all users yet.




In the United States, users can also link an Apple Pay Cash card to an Apple ID account.




There are a handful of benefits to Apple Pay billing for Apple ID account-tied purchases, including the ability to conveniently add multiple credit or debit cards, the improved security of Apple Pay, and the ability to better manage Apple Music and iCloud storage subscriptions from the Wallet app.

Photos: Here’s How the Physical Apple Card Looks Like

The first set of Apple Card has started making its way into the hands of Apple employees. Ben Geskin has posted the photo of one such Apple Card on Twitter giving us a look at how the physical card will look like.

Compared to other credit card offerings, Apple Card has a very minimalistic design. There are no numbers at the front except for the name of the cardholder. At the rear, there’s branding for Goldman Sachs and Mastercard with whom Apple has partnered on the Apple Card. Unlike traditional credit cards, Apple Card is made of titanium which gives it a more premium look and feel.



Interestingly, just like how one would set up their Apple Watch or AirPods, the Apple Card needs to be activated by one simply bringing their iPhone near the card. Without other details, it is unclear how the setup process goes forward but in typical Apple fashion, it is likely going to be very easy.

Other details about the Apple Card are not yet known. Apple had unveiled the card at its March event and it is expected to provide more details about it including its launch date at WWDC 2019 next month.

All Three 2020 iPhones to Feature Bigger OLED Display Ranging from 5.42-inch to 6.67-inches

A DigiTimes report claims that Apple plans on launching three new iPhones with OLED displays in 2020. The company will be increasing the screen sizes across the board as well.

As per the report, the smallest iPhone will feature a 5.42-inch display, with the other two iPhones coming with a 6.06-inch and 6.67-inch display size. The report is based on information received from Taiwan’s supply chain.

For the 5.42-inch iPhone due to be unveiled in 2020, Apple will use either Samsung’s Y-Octa or LG’s TOE touch technology. This will not only reduce the prices of the OLED panel but also make them thinner.

Despite LG Display’s best efforts, Samsung Display will remain the primary OLED panel supplier for Apple in 2020. It is yet unconfirmed if LG Display or BOE will get around to supplying the Cupertino company with OLED panels in 2020.

For 2019, Apple will continue to stick to the same formula as 2018. This means two iPhones featuring an OLED display with 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch display size and a 6.1-inch LCD iPhone. The sources also estimate that Apple is expected to ship around 80-82 million iPhones in H1 2019, with the total iPhone shipments for the year expected to be around 180-190 million units.
Our Take

DigiTimes does have a patchy record when it comes to iPhone rumors so it is better to take this one with a pinch of salt as well. However, we have now been hearing for quite some time that Apple intends to switch entirely to OLED panels for its 2020 iPhonelineup. If Samsung is able to fulfill Apple’s demand and the latter is able to secure a good deal on OLED panels, there’s a high probability of all three 2020 iPhones coming with an OLED display.

It will be interesting to see how Apple increases the screen size on 2020 iPhones without increasing the overall dimensions by a notable margin.

How to Remove iCloud Activation Lock?

Step By Step guide for Removing iCloud Account without Password

Step 1. Download and install LockWiper on your computer. Then, launch LockWiper and connect your device to your computer.

Step 2. Choose the mode “Unlock Apple ID”, and click “Start to Unlock" button to begin.



Step 3. Follow the onscreen steps to reset all settings on iPhone before LockWiper can start the unlocking process.



When it's done, the previous Apple ID and iCloud account will be removed from iPhone. You can now use new Apple ID and enjoy all the features on iPhone.

Note: iCloud account and Apple ID is removed from iPhone but not from Apple server. In case your device will be permanently blocked to the previous account, do not erase all content and settings on your device, do not restore or update your device via iTunes.




How to Remotely Remove iCloud Activation Lock on iPhone

Have you ever purchased a second-hand iPhone only to find that it's locked with iCloud account. The recommended method is to ask the previous owner to remove iCloud activation lock by deleting the iPhone from the current iCloud account.

Contact the previous owner and ask he/she to follow these steps:

Step 1: Start by going to icloud.com.

Step 2: Sign in to the site with your Apple ID and passcode.

Step 3: Click "Find iPhone".

Step 3: Tap "All Devices" located at the top.

Step 4: Choose which device you want to remove from the iCloud account.

Step 5: If necessary, tap "Erase iPhone".

Step 6: Once the device has been deleted, click on "Remove from Account".






Part 3: How to Bypass or Remove iCloud Lock Using DNS

You may not always need to bypass or remove iCloud , but there will be a time you need to bypass or remove it and knowing how to do that will help. The following steps may help.

Step 1: Turn on or restart your iPhone or iPad.

Step 2: Complete the Setup process until you get to the "Choose Wi-Fi network".

Step 3: Press the Home button. Click "More Wifi Settings".

Step 4: Tap on the "i" symbol next to the WiFi network.

Step 5: Tap "Configure DNS". Tap "Manual".

Step 6: Click "+Add Server" and a blank will come up.

Step 7: Enter the server address of your location. Here are some of the exmaples:


USA: 104.154.51.7


Europe: 104.155.28.90


Asia: 104.155.220.58


Africa, Australia, and other locations: 78.109.17.60

Step 8: Click "Save".

Step 9: Click on the back option and click "Join this Network".

Step 10: If it requires, enter the network password and tao "Join".

Step 11: When the iPhone tries to activate, click on the back button.

Step 12: You can now continue setting up your iPhone or iPad as normal.



Note: This method is not always working especially for those new iOS versions, like iOS 10 and later.




Part 4: Ask Apple to Help Remove iCloud Activation Lock

Apple will help unlock iPhone from iCloud account under some specific circumstances:


Show your proof to Apple that you are the owner of the iPhone. You can show your receipt.


Show your proof to Apple that the ownership has been transferred from the previous owner to you.

During the checks, Apple will also see if the iPhone has been reported as stolen or missing. If it has, Apple won't help. If you cannot prove you are the rightful owner, Apple will also refuse to unlock it. Therefore, as possible as you can, show all the proof that you are the owner and have the full right of the iPhone.




Part 5: How to Unlock iCloud Account with Paid Service

If the previous ways don't work for you, you can unlock your iPhone from iCloud activation with paid service. But it comes with limits:


It only supports all iOS versions up to iOS 11.3.1. Future release iOS 11.4 and higher is not supported.


The iPhone should be connected to either GSM or Wi-Fi.


It doesn't work for iPhone that is reported as lost or stolen.


You should have full access to your iPhone settings. That means, it doesn't work if your iPhone is stuck at the iCloud activation lock screen.

If you ensure the above requirements are well satisfied, you can use iRemove Tools:

Step 1: Download the latest version of iRemove and install it on your computer.

Step 2: Launch iRemove software and connect your iPhone to it. It will verify whether your iPhone is eligible to bypass Apple ID or not.

Step 3: Place the order and pay for it.

Step 4: After payment, just follow the onscreen instructions on iRemove. When it finish, you can set up your iPhone as normal.
